Who We Are

Conte Construction is a small, hands-on general contracting team serving Portland, Vancouver, and the Columbia Gorge.

The same crew, start to finish.

We're a small group who know and trust each other and take pride in working well together. Clients notice. They mention the communication, the respect, and—more often than you'd expect—the positive energy on the jobsite.

“It brings me great pleasure to create a space where people feel identified with their home”

Built from years of hands-on work and shared values.

Casey got his start on the East Coast working alongside his father, a cabinetmaker who built things to last. After a decade in the shop, he packed up his truck and moved to Portland in 2013 to start his own business — mostly small jobs at first, building relationships with the people he still works with today. As the projects got bigger, he knew it was time to bring in a partner.

Dave brought a breadth of experience to the partnership. Early exposure to custom home building gave him a foundation he carried forward into nearly 20 years running a bicycle bag business in Portland.

When a mutual friend introduced him to Casey in 2019, it felt less like a new chapter and more like a return. Casey brought deep hands-on experience. Dave brought systems, structure, and the same mindset around durability and craft. They've been building together ever since.
